Oh, So that's why I need a gun! The NRA plays Nostradamus and gives us a glimpse of the end times

On December 22, the website Wonkette exposed a booklet prepared by the National Rifle Association (NRA), entitled Freedom in Peril: Guarding the 2nd Amendment in the 21st Century. The booklet, with several large -- almost comical -- illustrations, warns, "Second Amendment freedom today stands naked in the path of a marching axis of adversaries far darker and more dangerous than gun owners have ever known. Acting alone and in shadowy coalitions, these enemies of freedom are preparing for a profound and foreboding confrontation...We'd better be ready."
Embedded in the PDF file of the booklet are "concept notes," -- possibly instructions or suggestions for the illustrator to follow.

The concept notes for one graphic reads, "Night scene of a horrifically ravaged middle-class neighborhood -- by hurricane or tornado or riots or terrorist act -- abandoned by police and left powerless against violent mayhem by roving gangs. A lone father stands guard over his home, wife and children with a shotgun."
What threat do animal rights activists pose to gun owners? Wonkette posits, "Here, for example, is one of the biggest threats to the white suburban hunter: dirty hippies and their evil sidekicks: the dynamite-carrying owl, sinister pig, angry Wall Street bull, dire wolf, terror chicken and Land Lobster."
A single person stands in for the typical apocalyptic role of the Antichrist and/or Jewish financier: George Soros, whom the NRA booklet describes as "the Hungarian-born billionaire bankroller of a globalist jihad against firearm freedom." Concept notes embedded in the booklet's PDF file indicate that Soros should be depicted as "God like...sitting on stacks of money, guns burning all around him."
Beware of the "Illegal Alien Gangs" -- a multiracial axis of evil crossing the border. The concept notes call for an illustration of "clearly Asian, black, white and Latino gang members."
